Preparing for the post-quantum era: Paribu Custody's approach
In a technical paper published at the end of March, Google Quantum AI highlighted that quantum risks facing the blockchain ecosystem may be closer than previously expected. According to Google, the quantum computing power needed to break elliptic curve cryptography, which underpins the security of major blockchains, is now estimated to be 20 times lower than earlier projections. In response to these developments, Paribu Custody, Turkey's first and only digital asset custody provider built on proprietary technology, published an article on its official channels outlining the potential risks for ecosystems such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, and sharing its approach to preparing for the post-quantum era.
