World Chain, Verona and Qtum join Paribu Custody's network coverage

Paribu Custody has added World Chain, Verona and Qtum to the networks it supports. Paribu Custody clients can hold assets on all three.
- World Chain is developed by Tools for Humanity, the San Francisco company founded in 2019 by Sam Altman and Alex Blania. It is an Ethereum Layer 2 built on the OP Stack and the network describes itself as a blockchain designed for a community of real humans.
- Verona was called XION until June 2026. The rename covered the brand and the ticker only. The network runs on Cosmos SDK with CometBFT consensus and describes itself as the intelligence layer for AI, where a fact is proven once and reused by any agent the user authorises.
- Qtum supports EVM smart contracts on Bitcoin's UTXO model, secured by proof of stake and bridged by its Account Abstraction Layer (AAL).
Different problems, one custody setup
World Chain and Verona start from the same idea. Something can be established once at the protocol level and relied on afterwards, instead of being re-established by every application that needs it. World Chain applies that to people, reserving priority blockspace for verified humans. Verona applies it to facts, with proofs the user owns and can reuse.
On the other hand, Qtum answers a question the industry was asking in 2017, whether Bitcoin's transaction model could carry Ethereum's contracts.
